Trailhead Lake House

Our family had a wonderful time this weekend staying at this beautiful chalet and took in lots of fun winter activities! We stayed in the loft and it was perfect for our family of four. Kendra went above and beyond to make our stay special and we really enjoyed the little extra touches that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

This is only our second time here and it already feels like home! We enjoyed hosting our friends for meals while also being able to relax in our own spaces.The house is squeaky clean and every comfort is provided. The beds are heavenly with lovely linens. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the water.There's also lots to do in the area, between hiking, shopping and exploring, even in the middle of April. The new fire pit is a great addition with lots of seating and the new dock provides a great place to relax next to the water.

Almost 4 hours of travel from Toronto to this final destination and it's all worth it with the beautiful scenery on the way to this beautiful, cozy and homey lakehouse. Trailhead lakehouse is settled on a private area with a beautiful backdrop of the lake. The lakehouse offers a refreshing swimming pool and relaxing hot tub. A wide array of beverages from coffee, tea and chocolate are available c/o of Kendra, our gracious host. Beds are comfy and beautifully set with modern tastefully decorated bathrooms. Trailhead lakehouse is a definite hit and we will surely be back.

The Trailhead Lake cottage was as beautiful as advertised. Kendra was incredibly caring and responsive. We had a reunion of six families of university friends and every person in our 16 person (plus two babies) enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We had a wonderful time away at Trailhead Lake House! Kendra does an amazing job with your home away from home right down to the tiny details. Spotless and with all the amenities…including an amazing view. We hope to return again.
